The current data indicates Covid-19 morality is higher in men then women, women carry the majority of the healthcare burden and caregiver responsibilities for children, the elderly and sick. Women and girls are often responsible for providing sanitation for their families, but may have their own sanitation and menstrual hygiene needs overlooked.
Anti Corona Task Force cares for everyone. Under the leadership of Anti Corona Task Force( Pandemic Force) Delhi President Mr. Amit Mishra, Anti Corona Task Force( Pandemic Force) Delhi North West incharge Ms. Hemlata Varun and her team spared no effort, going door to door and distributing sanitary napkins in Sayed Nangloi, Delhi. The World Health Organisation(WHO) defines WASH as the collective term for water, sanitisation and hygiene and the same was conveyed to the women in those areas by our Anti Corona Task Force( Pandemic Force) members. A great initiative by Ms Hemlata Varun which does not just stand for a day but would be continued for a better India and a greater India.
